Registering for Band

THINGS TO DO!
  1. Register for the Band Blurb: http://tinyurl.com/pjnv8jy

    The Band Blurb is an email list serve that the directors and band boosters use to pass along information to students, families, and fans of the Mundelein Band Program.
     
  2. Add all 2016-17 Band Calendar Dates to your home calendar.

    Please read the information about conflicts and let the directors know of any potential family conflicts through the use of the absence form.
     
  3. Pay 2016-17 Band Fee ($50)http://tinyurl.com/hhk9cow 

    The money generated from this fee is used by Mundelein High School to support the budget of the band program.
     
  4. Pay 2016-17 Marching Mustang Camp Fee ($60) - http://tinyurl.com/hhk9cow

    The money generated from this fee pays for the band camp clinicians and marching drill that is used during the 2016-17 Marching Band Camp and Season.
     
  5. Use RevTrak to purchase Uniform, Equipment, & Spirit Wearhttp://tinyurl.com/ohtxlel

    • Uniforms – All students MUST have:
      • Drill Master Marching Shoes ($32) - Can reuse shoes from previous year
      • Class “B” Shirt ($10) – NEW THIS YEAR! Soph/Jr/Sr free – ALL MUST ORDER NEW SHIRT
      • Class “B” Shorts ($10) - Can reuse shorts from previous year
      • Show Hoodie ($20) - MUST GET A NEW HOODIE THAT IS THEMED FOR THIS YEAR!

       
    • Equipment – All students MUST have:
      • Flip Folder/Lyre (prices vary) – All students must have a working flip folder and lyre specific for their instrument.

       
    • Spirit Wear – All spirit wear is optional.

     
  6. If Percussionist or Color Guard Member, pay for those section specific camp fees.
     
  7. Sign and return the following forms by Friday, August 12th (first Friday of the school year)
    • Code of Conduct/Handbook Sign-Off
    • Medical Form
    • Band Field Trip Form

If you missed the start-up meetings, or are unclear as to what to do to next to be involved in the MHS Bands, please follow these three easy steps:
  1. Sign up for the Band Blurbit's used to send out all kinds of useful information!

    • Click "Subscribe"
    • Open your email account and check both your inbox and spam folders for a confirmation email
    • You may also use the link above to view past posts and unsubscribe from the Band Blurb at any time

  2. Check back to this website often
    We look forward to seeing each of you at the upcoming meetings and camps. Information including lockers, music, handbooks, order forms, and much much more, were distributed at the July 11 meeting.
