Mock Trial Team

About the Mock Trial Team:
The Mock Trial Team is a competitive club that helps students learn about the law.  This club is open to all students.  Members learn important components of a trial and then work to prepare both sides of a criminal or civil case.  Members get the opportunity to work with real attorneys in order  to perfect their case.  Members assume the role of either a witness or attorney, prepare their case, and then compete against other schools.

The team will participate in several competitions in January.  In February students will compete in a Regional Competition in Kane County.  The team then has the chance to qualify for the State Competition, which is held in March.

Practices:
Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from October through mid-November.  Practices increase to three times a week until March.  See calendar for specific dates and times.
