Congratulations Lights their win this weekend!
Mundelein High School’s show choir, Mundelein Sound, was named Grand Champion at the Holmen, Wisconsin’s Gathering of the Stars Show Choir Invitational held March 2. Sixteen choirs from Illinois and Wisconsin took part in the event. In addition to being named Grand Champion, Sound also earned awards for Best Choral Sound, Best Choreography and Best Instrumental Ensemble. The MHS all-female choir, Mundelein Lights, was named top Unisex Group and advanced to the finals to place fourth overall.
Sound, Lights and the all-male choir, SoundFX will complete their competition season Saturday, March 16, at the Grand River Show Choir Invitational in LaCrosse, WI.
