Drake Moves One Step Closer to PFL Title
November 10, 2012

Mundelein's Anthony Gianaras led the Bulldogs with eight tackles, two behind the line of scrimmage, in his final home game.

John Pini (09)

John Pini just completed his first NCAA DIII football season for St. Norbert College. As a senior last year @ MHS - John started and played inside LB for our Mustangs - accumulating over 100 tackles for the year.
SNC's football program has been recognized as one of the top seven DIII programs in the NCAA. Since 1999, the SNC Green Knights have accumulated an overall record of 100-17; a Midwest Conference record of 92-6: have won eight Conference championships and have attended seven national NCAA DIII playoffs. The Green Knights have sent over 40 players to the pro level.
Labeled as a "Green Knight to watch" as a corner-back, John saw action in four NCAA games this year as a Freshman. Working himself up the depth chart - he continues to increase his speed and strength for more playing time. Next season as a sophomore, John hopes to see the field in a much larger role as the Green Knights strive to achieve another NCAA DIII division championship.
All of us @ MHS wish John the best in the program and in his scholastic endeavors
