PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP CLASSES!

FREE CITIZENSHIP CLASSES at VERNON AREA LIBRARY, 300 Olde Half Day Rd., Lincolnshire
Registration: Tues., Sept. 26, 2017 - 9:15 am to 12:15 pm
Class will be held every Tues. and Thurs., 9:15 am to 12:15 pm
The 8 week class starts: Tues., Oct. 3 and continues through Thurs., Nov. 30, 2017


You must be able to speak, read, and write basic English. 
Material covered: N400 Application, civics questions, reading and writing components, 
interview techniques necessary to become a U.S. citizen will be covered. 
Anyone who anticipates applying for citizenship should take this class before taking the test!

FREE ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES AT MUNDELEIN HIGH SCHOOL

High School Credit Recovery
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 6:30 to 9:30 pm
This class is for credit recovery and culminates in the issuance of a high school diploma from the student's high school. Students use a computer program to earn credits for classes in which they are deficient. The courses are consistent with the Mundelein High School program and the Illinois State Standards for Learning. Students are required to spend 30 hours on the computer and to pass all tests with a minimum proficiency of 70% to earn one half credit. Students are required to drop from a high school program before registering. Students must be under 21 years of age.
