Parents New to Mundelein High School
If you are a parent of an incoming freshman or a new student to MHS and have questions about their first days at school, you may want to check out "What Every Freshman (and their Parents) Need to Know about Mundelein High School". Written by students for incoming freshmen, this page will answer questions such as "When do I eat lunch?" and "Is there a supply list?". You may also download a copy here. (pdf)
Cell Phone/iPod Policy
The primary responsibility of Mundelein High School is to encourage and maintain a safe environment conducive to learning. In order to meet this goal, we are regularly looking for ways to improve our policies and procedures. Last school year, a committee was formed to review our Student Code of Conduct. This committee raised concern about the abundant use of cell phones and iPods at MHS. In an attempt to make an informed decision, the committee members reviewed similar policies of surrounding schools and conducted a survey among our staff members. After thorough consideration, we have developed a new system to strictly enforce the existing cell phone policy, and we have developed a new policy regarding iPods. Read the complete policy here.
