Cell Phone/iPod Policy

The primary responsibility of Mundelein High School is to encourage and maintain a safe environment conducive to learning.  In order to meet this goal, we are regularly looking for ways to improve our policies and procedures.  Last school year, a committee was formed to review our Student Code of Conduct.  This committee raised concern about the abundant use of cell phones and iPods at MHS.  In an attempt to make an informed decision, the committee members reviewed similar policies of surrounding schools and conducted a survey among our staff members.  After thorough consideration, we have developed a new system to strictly enforce the existing cell phone policy, and we have developed a new policy regarding iPods.
