  • narrowing down college choices
  • working through applications
  • checking essays
  • discussing financial concerns and scholarships
  • talking about standardized tests
  • working with potential college athletes
  • discussing military options
  • helping students connect with people at universities

College Planning Night: Focus on Juniors

A panel of college representatives will present on how to prepare for the application process. Open to all grade levels.
 
Say YES to College (IEP/504) Night
March 7 | 7:00 p.m. | MHS Auditorium
Loras College representatives will present about the college planning process for students with disabilities.
 
Naviance Night
March 20 | 7:00 p.m. | MHS Auditorium
This event is a great opportunity for parents to learn all about the system that their students use for college and career planning and, ultimately, to request transcripts and letters of recommendation for college applications. Students are welcome to attend!
 
Managing College Costs
April 10 | 6:00 p.m. español | 7:00 p.m. English | MHS Auditorium
This presentation gets students thinking about their college budget, including  how to plan college financing, and strategies for saving money in college. Scholarships and working on campus are also discussed.
