

Attendance
Students must be in attendance for Final Exam periods.
Students in Study Hall or Lunch are not required to attend those periods on their scheduled Final Exam Days. Study hall will be located in the cafeteria during final exam days.
Breakfast /lunch
Breakfast will be offered from 7:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch is offered both Final Exam days.
Exam Makeups
An exam make-up period will be available each day of final exams. Students must contact their teacher if they miss an exam. All make-up exams will be in the Assessment Center or completed with the teacher if the teacher wishes. There is an overflow room to the Assessment Center as needed.
Teachers need to make arrangements for student make-up exams necessary for the completion of the semester.
Faculty attendance
Day 1: Teachers can be in attendance 15 minutes before and after a final exam.
Day 2: Faculty members will be in attendance from 1:25 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.
Athletic Practices
Athletic practices can begin after 12:45 p.m. on both final exam days.
If a student is required to complete a final exam Make-Up period, he/she must do this before attending athletic practices.
Intervention Rooms
The Math Lab, Literacy Center and Media Center will remain open for students if students are in lunch or study hall during the exam periods.
Bus
All buses will run at 12:45 p.m. each day of final exams.
Activity Bus
An activity bus will run at 3:30 p.m. each day of final exams after the make-up period.
Final Exam Exemptions for Seniors
Faculty may decide to exempt 8th semester seniors from final exams as long as the following requirements are followed:
● The senior is expected to be in attendance until the published “last day for seniors” date.
● The senior has at least a grade of C or better.
● The teacher must inform students via the course syllabus at the start of the school year to the criteria used to exempt students from a semester 8 final exam.
● Final exam exemptions must be consistent for all sections of the same course.
