Highlights

  • Cap and Gown Ordering: Graduation cap and gown ordering will begin September 9th. Herff Jones will be here on school picture day to measure Seniors for their gowns and hand out order packets. Orders must be completed at home. For any questions regarding ordering or payment, please contact Herff-Jones at 815-756-4743.

    • Early bird pricing ends December 4th.

    • Cap and Gown ordering ends February 26th.

  • Senior Pictures: All Seniors should attend our regular school picture day on September 9th. Seniors interested in booking a premiere photo session should contact the VIP studio for an appointment. See the VIP flyer for more information.

  • Senior Honors Ceremony: All Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to attend the annual Senior Honors Ceremony on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 pm in the MHS Auditorium. Students receiving recognition (either individually or as part of an honored group) will be notified. 

  • Graduation Day: Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2027 at 3:00 pm at the NOW Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates, IL. 
  • Tickets and seating: Each graduate will be issued 15 tickets for guest seating. Tickets will be available on Cap and Gown Pickup Day in May. General seating will begin at 2:00 pm. ADA seating areas are available at NOW Arena (guests must provide their own wheelchairs). Graduation will also be live-streamed for those who can not attend in person.

ELIGIBILITY

Students must meet all graduation requirements in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students are encouraged to check with their guidance counselors if they are uncertain of their eligibility status. Students with outstanding fee balances on their school accounts should make payment to the MHS Bookstore/Payment Center before graduation. Fee balances are printed on the bottom of all progress reports and report cards. Chromebooks must be returned. Please contact Mrs. Olson at extension 1235 with questions regarding your school account.
