Update on Mundelein High School Summer School

5/18/2020

As the school year winds down, we have received some concerns around the Health course offering during Summer School.  After reviewing the issues with the staff, MHS has made some adjustments to the Health offering this coming summer.

  • Health will be taught online through Edgenuity.
  • This will be a self-paced course but students will be assigned to a MHS teacher for orientation, office hours, questions, assistance and weekly check ins.
  • Students enrolled in Health will start the class on June 9th and can finish the course any time until July 31.  This is a change from the June and July in-school sessions described in the summer school catalog.  Since this course is online, it will not follow the typical summer school contact hours described in the posted summer school catalog.

Registration for this Health class has been re-opened.  Please follow this link  register for the Health class.

Previously registered students are still registered for this class.  Nothing new is needed from students who have a confirmed registration.

Please contact Jean Davis (jdavis@d120.org) with any questions.

4/29/2020

District 120 Summer School will be conducted in an eLearning format without face to face instruction. The times indicated when students may take assessments, have 1:1 virtual check ins with instructors and have virtual class meetings/lessons.
