PSAT NMSQT

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).
 
It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives you a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.

MHS is hosting the PSAT/NMSQT  exam for Juniors on October 10, 2018

The practice SAT exam will better prepare students for the SAT as they will become more familiar with the types of questions that may be asked. By taking this exam, students can also enter National Merit Scholarship programs and obtain access to valuable college and career planning tools.  

  • Date: October 10, 2018
  • Time: Report Time: 7:45 a.m. / End Time: 11:30 a.m.
  • Who: This test is for juniors (sophomores will take the PSAT 10 in the spring)
  • Cost:  Free but students must pre-register
  • Registration: Register Online Here through August 17, 2018
  • Exam Day: Bring No. 2 pencils, eraser and an approved calculator
