Child Abuse Prevention Month

Poster explaining different ways to participate
As we head into April, the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center is preparing for Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Blue Kids Program of the LCCAC is meant to create awareness, engage youth, and encourage education and participation in keeping every child safe and every community aware. All throughout April, it will be our goal to encourage our local businesses, schools, and community to have conversations about child abuse.
Creating public awareness can be an integral approach to preventing child abuse and we’re extremely grateful to all of our partners around Lake County who will be helping us to spread this message. Please take a look at the flyer below to see ideas on how you can help raise awareness and to see all of the amazing organizations that are participating in our Blue Kids Program.
