Please be advised that multiple phishing emails were sent yesterday, Wednesday, August 19, 2026 originating from 5 compromised staff email addresses:
cwentink@d75.org, pgill@d120.org, jthatcher@d120.org, bgigiano@d75.org, aesparza@d75.org
These emails had a subject line: “Document shared with you“
The phishing messages were sent with the subject line “Document shared with you.”
If you received a message with this subject line from one of the email addresses listed above, please delete the message and do not click on any links or attachments. If you already clicked a link or attachment, we recommend changing the password associated with your email account as a precaution.
Once the District became aware of the issue, our Technology team took immediate steps to secure the affected accounts, investigate the incident, and implement additional safeguards. We continue to review our systems and security measures and are taking further steps to help prevent similar incidents in the future.
We recognize that families and community partners trust communications that appear to come from our schools and staff, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion and concern these messages may have caused. Protecting our systems, information, and the trust of our community is important to us.
