Mundelein High School will host the Access College Fair, the second annual bilingual college fair in Lake County on Wednesday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Main Gym. In collaboration with Round Lake High School and Wauconda High School, MHS will welcome 30-40 college representatives who are fluent in both English and Spanish. Students from all school districts in Lake County and surrounding areas are welcome.
The representatives will speak with students and their families about the college application process and help them learn about the opportunities that they have to continue their education. Bilingual financial aid overview sessions will also be hosted by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). The English presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Spanish presentation at 7 p.m.
Students are encouraged to register for this opportunity at StriveFair.com. Registration is not required but it will allow students to connect and share and receive information from the colleges that will be in attendance. If a district is interested in bringing a bus of families to the Access College Fair, please contact Andrea Rusk (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Samantha Rivera (email@example.com) to let them know.
