    Future Business Leaders Win at State

    Mundelein High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) landed seven students in the top ten places during the state competition on April 1 and 2. Three students qualified to go on to the FBLA National Leadership Conference competition which will be held in Chicago on June 24-27. Isaac Fuksman, Kurt Dumblauskas, and Victoria Zherebna all qualified to go on to the FBLA nationals in Chicago. While only students who place fourth or higher are eligible to go on to the national competition.​

    MHS takes first in remote sensing at Science Olympiad Regional

    Apr 01, 2022

    The Mundelein High School Science Olympiad team placed in 11 of 23 events including a first place finish in remote sensing during the College of Lake County’s Illinois Science Olympiad Regionals. The competition was held virtually on March 12. Each of the 23 events included two students each from Varsity and JV teams at MHS. While MHS did not advance to the state competition this year, the team is aiming for that level next year.

    MHS senior wins Bears community award

    Mundelein High School senior Miguel Hernandez has earned plenty of accolades from his play on the football field and his achievements in the classroom. But on March 4, he added another to the list: The Chicago Bears Community High School All-Star Award. The award recognizes high school football players who make a positive impact in their community and school. Miguel was the first of nine winners from throughout the state who are chosen because they exemplify service, leadership and character.
