    Mundelein High School senior and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) student Angelica Hernandez, has been awarded and accepted the Presidential Scholarship at Northern Illinois University (NIU).     On Saturday, February 13, a few members of the Mundelein High School Byte Club participated in a national coding competition sponsored by the prestigious Colorado School of Mines. One team made up of Kajal Patel, Steffen Brown, and Peter Zakariya, won first in the state of Illinois.
