    Girls basketball to host Breast Cancer Awareness Night

    Girls Basketball to host Breast Cancer Awareness Night Mundelein High School’s girls basketball team will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Night game against the Stevenson Patriots Friday, Feb. 7. Games are set for 5:30 and 7 p.m.; tickets are $5. Short-sleeved T-shirts will be on sale during the game for $10 and long-sleeves for $15. All proceeds will benefit the Lynn Sage Foundation. “Come ‘Pack the House’ and cheer on the Mustangs,” said Greg Dorgan, varsity coach.

    Mundelein High School hosted the first Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) Summit in collaboration with its feeder school districts including Mundelein Elementary District 75, Diamond Lake School District 76, and Hawthorn Elementary District 73 on Saturday, January 18t.     Mundelein High School’s Special Olympic athletes will take on members of the MHS staff in a Special Olympics Basketball game to help the team celebrate the close of their inaugural season.     Isle of Martinique students visit MHS to meet their pen pals

    Twenty-one students from the Isle of Martinique visited Mundelein High School Jan. 23 to meet MHS students with whom they have been corresponding as pen pals. The event was coordinated by Marty Ambrey, French instructor at MHS. The day’s activities included both formal and informal opportunities for the visiting students to spend time with their MHS counterparts.     Cultural Fair at MHS includes evening events for area residents

    Mundelein High School will hold a Cultural Fair at the high school Feb. 7 from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.. During the day, more than 16 booths will be in place to represent the diverse culture and identities at MHS. An added feature this year will include student-led evening of activities.
