    Eleven Mundelein High School students were recognized with Mustang Pride awards during a breakfast ceremony Oct. 2.     For the second year, two music professors from Denison College in Ohio spent several hours working with MHS student musicians in the jazz orchestra and the honors jazz ensemble. They were invited by MHS instrumental music instructors Jerry Shelato and Andy Sturgeon.     Volleyball game to raise funds for cancer research; donations appreciated

    Mundelein High School’s girls volleyball team will host a Breast Cancer Volleyball Match vs. Antioch High School Friday, Oct. 11 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Main Gym. Admission will be a donation of $5 for adults and $3 for children. A limited number of newly designed t-shirts are now available in the bookstore. Cost is $10 for short sleeves and $15 for long sleeves. Roughly 94 percent of the money raised through this event will go to the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation located at Northwes​

    Mundelein High School, in conjunction with the Mundelein Police Department, will hold a mock intruder drill on Thursday, Oct. 3 to help students and staff prepare in case of a real situation.
