    MHS to host annual Miles for Mustangs Turkey Trot, November 28

    Mundelein High School will host a 5K at 9 a.m. and a one-mile Kids and Family Run/Walk beginning at 10 a.m. on the MHS track Thursday, Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day.     Senior earns first place at Student Silent Film Festival

    Mundelein High School senior, Ander Nutall, earned first place at the annual Student Silent Film Festival held at the historic Sanfilippo Estate in Barrington this past weekend. Students from all of Chicagoland participated in the event.     Nearly 200 veterans and their guests took part in a solemn Veterans Day observance at Mundelein High School Wednesday, Nov. 6. MHS holds its ceremony earlier in November so veterans may also participate in local Veterans Day events on Nov. 11, the actual national commemorative day.     MHS feeder school bands to join high school bands for concert

    Mundelein High School bands will host a free evening concert Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the MHS main gym. In addition to performances by the MHS Wind Ensemble and MHS Concert Band, middle schools that send students to MHS for high school will also perform.     Jazz Ensemble to join Jazz Consortium Big Band at Durty Nellies

    Mundelein High School’s Jazz Ensemble will join the Jazz Consortium Big Band Sunday, Nov. 10, at Durty Nellies in Palatine (180 N Smith ST; Palatine, IL).
