MHS staff members honored for career milestones

A staff recognition ceremony for Mundelein High School staff members was held Wednesday, May 15 at the Hawthorn Woods Country Club hosted by Superintendent Kevin Myers and Principal Anthony Kroll. Ten staff members were honored for being granted tenure: Stevee Bellas, Kelli Goodwin, Leah Kolcz, Lauren Morley, Kristina Rizzo, Georgina Mendez, Jesse Piland, Rebecca Plaza, Carsyn Rodriguez and Peter Schrenk. The Mustang staff earns 23 IJEA awards

Mundelein area organizations/businesses grant nearly $80K in scholarships to MHS seniors

During their Senior Honors Night at Mundelein High School on May 7, graduating seniors took in nearly $80K in scholarship money from local Mundelein area businesses and organizations. Overall, the senior class was offered close to $3 million in scholarships from colleges, universities and organizations. MHS to graduate 470 students Sunday, May 12

Mundelein High School will be one of the first in the area to hold graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2019. The MHS event, recognizing approximately 470 graduates, will take place Sunday, May 12, at 3 p.m. at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. Mundelein launches alcohol prevention campaign

On May 1, 2019, the Mundelein STAND-UP Task Force, Mundelein After School Coalition, and the Mundelein Police Department launched the annual “Parents Who Host Lose the Most” Campaign to prevent underage drinking during prom and graduation season.
