The Mundelein High School Boys Volleyball Program will play Wheeling Thursday, May 10 at 5 p.m. in the North Gym dedicated to the memory of Patrick Zepeda, father of Nate Zepeda. Nate is a member of the MHS freshman volleyball team.
Mundelein High School will hold its Graduation Ceremony Sunday, May 13, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. Four hundred fifty-four seniors are slated to receive their high school diplomas at that time.
John Lay, a Mundelein High School junior, recently received word that he scored a perfect score of 36 on the ACT Test. He took the test on April 14 this year.
The annual Band Awards Night Concert will take place Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m. in the Mundelein High School Auditorium. Admission is free.
Mundelein High School senior, Andrew Owens, has been granted a full-ride, four-year ROTC scholarship to continue his education. In addition, he has been awarded a $20,000 Bright Futures scholarship from the Kimberly-Clark Foundation.
Innovation Fair begins at 5:30, followed by Pitch Night beginning at 6:30.
Mundelein High School will host an Innovation Fair Monday, May 7, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by “Pitch Night” for Business Incubator students at 6:30 p.m. Both are free and open to the public.
Mundelein High School’s Instrumental Music Department will host its annual Evening of Jazz Sunday, May 6 at 5 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria. The evening will include a silent auction, raffles and jazz music by the MHS jazz bands.
Mundelein High School’s Junior/Senior Prom will take place Friday, May 4, from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Marriott Lincolnshire in the Grand Marquee Pavilion. The theme for the evening is Gatsby Gala: A Golden Evening.
The Spring Band Concert features performances by Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Honors Symphonic Winds.
