Ms. Sherwin-Petrucci earns special certification

Mundelein High School business education instructor, Michelle Sherwin-Petrucci, has been granted Certified Teacher status for participating in Uncharted Learning NFP’s professional development for two years and completing one year of teaching the INCubatoredu program.

Theatre season opens with student-directed one act plays

Mundelein Theatre will kick off its new season with their Student Directed One Act Plays. This year there will be nine short plays presented, all directed by Mundelein High School seniors. The plays will be presented on Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium.

The Mundelein High School Class of 1972 has a number of plans in place for its 45th class reunion to be held Homecoming weekend, Sept. 22-24.

College Planning Nights set for Aug. 30, 31

Mundelein High School’s Guidance Department will host two evenings of College Planning Night programs Wednesday, Aug. 30 in Spanish and Thursday, Aug. 31 in English, both beginning at 7 p.m.

Mundelein Arts Festival Sept. 9,10 offers scholarships to MHS students

Mundelein Community Connection and the Mundelein Park District proudly present the 7th Annual Mundelein Fine Arts Festival, (MAF) a juried art festival showcasing the talents of 45 fine artists and craftspeople who work in a variety of media. The MAF will be held September 9-10 2017, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, at Kracklauer Park in downtown Mundelein, 100 N. Seymour Ave.
