Information Session about DROPPING CLASS RANK

Mundelein High School Administration has recommended to the District 120 Board of Education that Class Rank be dropped. MHS hopes to join most other schools in the area to eliminate Class Rank.

College Planning Nights set for March 21, 22

Mundelein High School’s Guidance Department will hold College Planning Nights on Tuesday, March 21 in Spanish and Wednesday, March 22 in English. Both begin at 7 p.m.

Group Interpretation, Stranger Than Fiction, on stage March 16, 17

Mundelein Theatre at Mundelein High School will present the Group Interpretation production of Stranger than Fiction by Zach Helm Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17 beginning at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. Tickets, available at the door, are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.

Senior wins soloist competition at Percussion Festival

Mundelein High School senior, Anna Desfor, won the soloist competition on the xylophone at the Elk Grove Percussion Festival held March 4 at Elk Grove High School.

Show choirs, soloists earn top rankings

Mundelein High School’s show choirs had winning performances March 4 when they took part in the Chicagoland Showcase at John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights. MHS soloists were also singled out for their work.

Two math instructors to do teacher training in Ghana, Africa

Mundelein High School Math instructors Maggie Sharp and Julie Block are gearing up for what will most likely be an experience of a lifetime—they will be spending part of their summer in Ghana, Africa, as part of the Limited Resource Teacher Training [LRTT] Program.

52nd Annual Mundelein Invitational Saturday, March 11

The Mundelein High School Music Department will host its annual Mundelein Invitational Saturday, March 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. For the $5 admission, ticket holders have the opportunity to hear up to 21 jazz groups and also special guest artist, Mark Colby.
